The Advent Wreath

It is The First Advent Sunday today and here is my Advent wreath for this year.It is not a classical wreath:I made it from an old ceramical plate painted with acrylic colour. Its margin is sprinkled with gold powder. Here is all what you need for making of that kind of wreath and of course you can use other colours and materials.

I'm going to try this. When my daughters were young we used to make lots of xmas decorations. A few years ago my eldest daughter, wanting to decorate the house, found all those handmade decorations in the bottom of the box. She was elated with joy and put them all up.
